Johandson Rezende
Johandson Rezende lives in Rio de Janeiro, in the neighbourhood of Copacabana. Although living close to the beach, he locks himself in his dark room, staying in absence of water, food and sex, forming a shamanistic ritual of self-flagellation, so he's allowed to have mystical insights that inspire him to do surrealistic and old schooler comic books and animations. He’s finishing his book, called "Dharma: An introduction to the oriental philosophy in comic books," in which the God Ganesha explains the concepts of Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, etc, with references to such philosophers as Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, Plato, Jung and to pop culture in general. His animations can be seen at http://chemicalcomix.blogspot.com.
