Caryn A. Tate
Caryn A. Tate has been writing from childhood, influenced by masters of the storytelling craft such as David Simon, Grant Morrison, Kazuo Koike, and directors like Martin Scorsese and Spike Lee, to name just a few. Coming from a long line of cowboys and cowgirls, she has spent most of her life on working cattle ranches and farms and has witnessed the disappearance and evolution of much of the West as we know it. Caryn and the artists on Red Plains take pride in portraying the West as it really was, eschewing the fictitious tropes found in many Hollywood westerns.
