BB WOLF nominated for four Glyph Awards!
February 16, 2011
Top Shelf is extremely proud to announce that JD Arnold and Rich Koslowski's graphic novel BB Wolf and the Three LPs is nominated for four Glyph Comics Awards! JD is up for Best Writer, Rich is up for Best Artist, BB himself is in the running for Best Male Character, and the book is a candidate for Story of the Year!
The Glyph Awards, founded in 2005, celebrate great comics created by, for, and about people of color. BB Wolf, through the allegorical retelling of a classic fairy tale, explores real historically grounded issues of race in the Mississippi Delta of the 1920s.
Congratulations to JD, Rich, and all the Glyph nominees! Many thanks to the Glyph judges and staff. We look forward to the award ceremony, May 20 in Philadelphia, in connection with the East Coast Black Age of Comics Con!
